Public safety starts with the ability to protect yourself. If you’re a good guy with a gun, I will continue fighting for your right to keep your family safe. If you’re a bad guy with a gun, I will prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law. I’ve been on the front line with Colorado sheriffs against horrible gun control legislation pushed by liberal democrats in Denver.

I’m dedicated to recruiting and retaining talented prosecutors. Along with proper training and empowerment to do the job, this will go far to enhance public safety in our community.
I've prosecuted insurgents in Iraq, criminals in Colorado and fought for strong public safety policies at the Colorado State Capitol. I understand the big picture and know the District Attorney's critical role in the effort to keep our community safe. It takes someone with a broad breadth and depth of experience to accomplish the task.
